Garment Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of garments that meet quality standards. Conduct market research and analysis to stay current on trends and inform product development strategies. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards with suppliers to secure the best value for the company. Oversee the entire production process from design concept to final product, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines. Implement and conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain brand consistency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Design, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in garment merchandising or a similar role. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient understanding of garment production processes, quality control procedures, and international trade regulations (a plus).
