We are seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Part-Time Garment Construction & Pattern-Making Assistant to join us in Kokapet, Hyderabad.
This role is ideal for a talented individual with a strong foundation in couture and tailoring techniques who is eager to contribute to high-quality garment production and grow within a creative environment.
The Assistant will provide essential support across the entire production cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in pattern making - drafting, tracing, and modifying patterns under supervision.
- Handle garment cutting, stitching, and finishing according to the studio's standards.
- Prepare and manage fabric layouts, linings, and trimmings.
- Support during sample creation and fittings when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace. - Strong interest or background in garment construction and pattern making.
- Diploma or coursework in fashion design preferred.
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines (single-needle, overlock) and basic stitching/finishing methods.
- Solid understanding of pattern-making principles and garment fit.
- Familiarity with garment construction for diverse women's wear categories.
