Must be a B.Sc (Horticulture or Agriculture) graduate with at least 3 years of experience in agriculture field work The candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of our agricultural operations. 1. Fruit Orchard Management: - Conduct periodical pruning activities to enhance fruit production. - Identify and address diseases affecting the orchard, implementing effective solutions. - Manage the application of fertilizers and pesticides to optimize crop health. - Implement intercropping techniques for sustainable agriculture. - Oversee the entire process from harvesting to ripening and preservation of fruits. 2. Crop Maintenance: - Develop and execute an efficient routine for identifying, sowing, and harvesting seasonal crops, cereals, pulses, and vegetables. - Ensure proper care and attention to each crop, implementing best practices for optimal yield. 3. Animal Husbandry: - Maintain and care for farm animals, including cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep, pigs, and poultry units. - Maintain health and nutrition for animals, through doctor calls, periodic monitoring, natural remedies ensuring their well-being. 4. Fodder Management: - Cultivate fodder crops and efficiently manage their production. - Maintain adequate stock levels and manage quantities to meet the nutritional needs of farm animals. - Implement feeding schedules to ensure the well-balanced diet of the animals. 5. Planning and Coordination: - Develop a comprehensive work schedule for various agricultural activities. - Ensure timely completion of deliverables, meeting quality standards and productivity goals. - Coordinate effectively with faculty and other working staff to streamline operations. 6. Professional Communication: - Maintain open and effective communication channels with all stakeholders. - Provide regular updates and reports on the status of agricultural activities.
