Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plant, water, prune, and trim trees, shrubs, flowers, and hedges. Maintain indoor and outdoor plants as required. Remove weeds, pests, and diseased plants. Mow, edge, aerate, and fertilize lawns. Maintain walkways, pathways, and landscaped areas. Replace damaged or dead plants promptly. Prepare soil for planting and seasonal changes. Apply manure, compost, and fertilizers as needed. Identify and purchase local trees and plants as approved. Maintain proper drainage and soil health. Use and maintain gardening tools such as shears, mowers, trimmers, hoses, and sprinklers. Ensure tools are stored safely and kept in working condition. Collect and dispose of garden waste, dry leaves, and debris. Keep garden areas clean and tidy at all times. Operate manual or automatic irrigation systems. Ensure regular watering without wastage. Assist in landscaping design or seasonal plant displays. Prepare gardens for festivals, events, or monsoon/summer/winter changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience

in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture. Knowledge of plants, soil types, fertilizers, and pest control. Ability to operate basic garden tools and equipment. Physically fit and able to work outdoors. Attention to detail, punctuality, and discipline.
