Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Maintain lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees, and landscaped areas of the campus Plant, water, prune, trim, mow, and fertilize plants, shrubs, and lawns Remove weeds, dry leaves, and debris from garden areas Ensure proper irrigation and watering schedules Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and insecticides safely and as instructed Identify plant diseases or pest issues and report to supervisors Maintain garden tools, equipment, and machinery in good working condition Assist in seasonal planting and landscaping projects Support campus beautification for events, inspections, and special occasions Follow safety guidelines and environmentally friendly gardening practices Perform any other related duties assigned by the administration

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum qualification: Basic literacy preferred Prior experience as a gardener or in landscaping (school, campus, park, or similar environment preferred) Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and use of basic gardening tools

Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of horticulture and plant care Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Physically fit to perform manual labour Attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to follow instructions and work independently Teamwork and cooperative attitude

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
