Position Overview:

Onboard Board Game Cafe is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Board Game Instructor to lead engaging game sessions and create memorable experiences for our customers. If you love board games and enjoy teaching others, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Game Facilitation: Lead and oversee board game sessions, ensuring an enjoyable and interactive experience for all players.
Instruction & Guidance: Teach game rules, mechanics, and strategies in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
Customer Engagement: Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels.
Community Building: Encourage social interaction and cultivate a vibrant community of board game enthusiasts.
Event & Tournament Organization: Plan and host board game events, tournaments, and themed game nights.
Game Recommendations: Assist customers in selecting suitable games based on their preferences and experience levels.
Board Game Inventory Maintenance: Regularly check, Audit, organize, and maintain board game components, ensuring all games are complete and in good condition. Report missing or damaged pieces and suggest necessary replacements.
Training & Workshops: Conduct beginner-friendly workshops and learning sessions for new players.
Feedback Collection: Gather and relay customer feedback to enhance gaming experiences and improve offerings.
Inventory Management Support: Assist in tracking and managing board game stock, ensuring new and trending games are available.

Requirements:

Strong passion for board games with a deep understanding of various game genres and mechanics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain rules clearly and facilitate engaging game sessions.
Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about teaching and guiding new players.
Experience in event planning, customer engagement, or community building is a plus.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and game maintenance.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak gaming hours.
