Role Summary:

As a Technical Operator, you will be the backbone of the gaming floor. You won't just be monitoring the floor; you'll be the first responder for hardware glitches, network issues, and mechanical repairs. Your goal is to provide a high-energy environment while ensuring every machine--from high-end PCs to VR rigs and arcade cabinets--is running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Preventative Maintenance:

Conduct daily startup checks on all consoles, PCs, VR headsets, and arcade hardware.

Hardware Repair:

Diagnose and fix common mechanical or electronic issues (e.g., jammed coin mechs, unresponsive buttons, or loose cabling).

Software Updates:

Manage game patches, driver updates, and OS configurations to ensure compatibility and security.

Network Stability:

Monitor local area networks (LAN) and Wi-Fi connectivity to prevent lag or disconnection during multiplayer sessions.

Operations & Guest Experience

Technical Support:

Assist guests with VR setup, controller calibration, and account logins.

Inventory Management:

Track spare parts, tools, and peripheral inventory (controllers, headsets, cables).

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and that cables are properly managed to prevent tripping hazards.

Transaction Handling:

Assist with card loading, prize redemption systems, and basic POS troubleshooting.

Required Technical Skills:

Hardware Proficiency:

Experience assembling or repairing PCs, consoles (PS5/Xbox/Switch), and peripherals.

Arcade Systems:

Familiarity with JAMMA systems, emulator software, or coin-op mechanics is a major plus.

Networking Basics:

Understanding of IP addresses, routers, switches, and Ethernet cabling.

VR/AR Knowledge:

Hands-on experience with SteamVR, Oculus/Meta Quest Link, or HTC Vive configurations.

Tools:

Ability to safely use basic hand tools, multimeters, and soldering irons for minor electronic repairs.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
