Job Summary:

The Furniture QC Inspector - Production Unit is responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of wooden sofas, cots, and other furniture products throughout various stages of production. This role ensures that all items meet the company's quality standards in terms of materials, craftsmanship, finish, durability, and structural integrity before moving to packaging or delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect raw materials (wood, fabric, foam, etc.) for defects before production begins. Conduct in-process quality checks during assembly, carpentry, and upholstery stages. Verify measurements, joinery, finishes, and hardware according to design specifications and production drawings. Identify defects such as cracks, warping, improper alignment, poor upholstery, or finishing issues. Document and report any quality issues or non-conformities to the QC Supervisor and coordinate corrective actions. Maintain quality inspection checklists and daily QC reports. Support continuous improvement efforts in quality and production processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Woodworking, Carpentry, Furniture Design, or related field. 5+ years' experience in a furniture manufacturing or QC environment. Proven experience in quality control or furniture manufacturing (especially wooden sofas and cots). Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (tape measure, callipers, etc.). Good communication skills and ability to work with production staff.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
