Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented

Furniture Product Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing furniture designs that align with brand standards and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Research market trends, materials, and ergonomics to create user-centered furniture designs. Develop design concepts through sketches, CAD drawings, 3D models, and mood boards. Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production. Collaborate with material vendors, carpenters, and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs. Oversee prototypes and coordinate with workshops or factories during the manufacturing process. Present concepts and design proposals to internal teams and clients. Ensure quality, sustainability, and durability in furniture design. Make modifications based on feedback from clients, engineers, and production staff. Keep up-to-date with the latest design software and furniture trends.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in furniture design or a similar product design role. Strong sketching and 3D visualization skills. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar tools. Knowledge of furniture materials, joinery, and manufacturing processes. Excellent attention to detail and creative flair. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

Experience working in an interior design firm or furniture manufacturing company. Knowledge of sustainable materials and design practices. Portfolio showcasing previous furniture design work.
Working timings - 9.30am to 7pm

Start Date - Immediate Joinee

Language Required - English, Tamil, Hindi
