Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement production and material planning strategies.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams for smooth workflow.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Ensure timely availability of raw materials, fittings, and hardware.
Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues.
Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to reduce costs.
Coordinate with the sales team to understand demand forecasts and customer orders.
Maintain inventory levels as per company requirements.
Generate MIS reports on production planning, delays, and output.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely project completion.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Production/Operations Management (or equivalent).
3-7 years of experience in
production or planning management in the furniture industry
.
Strong knowledge of raw materials, manufacturing processes, and furniture production workflow.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and planning software.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in modular furniture, office furniture, or customized furniture planning.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
