Job Description

Job Summary:

The Furniture Merchandiser cum MIS Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process for furniture products -- from product Sales Analysis, Inventory Analysis , vendor coordination, and costing to production follow-up and delivery. The role also involves maintaining and analyzing Management Information System (MIS) reports to support business decisions and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Product buyer, suppliers, and production teams for new product Launch and their movement. Plan and execute product assortments as per market trends and buyer requirements. Track production schedules to ensure on-time deliveries. Conduct market research and competitor analysis for products Maintain detailed records of product specifications, product shoot, purchase orders, and shipment schedules. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams for catalog creation and product display planning.

MIS (Management Information System) Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and update MIS reports related to sales, inventory, production, and purchase. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review. Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights for business improvement. Monitor stock levels and forecast inventory requirements. Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting across all departments. Support the finance and operations teams with data for budgeting and performance tracking.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of furniture products, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent vendor management skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP/MIS software. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and retail merchandising experience . 2-3 years of experience in furniture merchandising or a similar role. Experience in MIS reporting and data analysis preferred. Well verse in excel .
