Job Summary:

Home Today is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Furniture Manager to oversee all aspects of our furniture department. This role involves managing inventory, supervising staff, optimizing sales, and ensuring a top-tier customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail furniture sales and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operations of the furniture department, ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked showroom. Supervise, train, and motivate a team of sales associates and support staff. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with vendors, and oversee furniture ordering and restocking. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed department goals. Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly. Oversee floor merchandising and ensure displays are visually appealing and align with brand standards. Track and report on sales performance, inventory trends, and customer feedback. Collaborate with store leadership on promotions, events, and seasonal merchandising plans. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and store policy standards.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in furniture sales or retail management. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong knowledge of furniture products, design trends, and customer preferences. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage inventory and interpret sales data effectively. Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer software (Excel, Word, etc.).
