Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Furniture Draughtsman

with hands-on experience in preparing accurate, production-ready drawings for furniture projects, including modular wardrobes, kitchens, and loose furniture. The ideal candidate should be proficient in

AutoCAD

and have a strong understanding of furniture joinery, materials, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings of furniture designs using

AutoCAD

. Translate conceptual sketches and design briefs into precise technical drawings suitable for production. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure drawings are practical and accurate. Maintain and update drawings as per design changes or project requirements. Verify dimensions, materials, and hardware specifications in drawings. Ensure drawings comply with company standards and client specifications. Assist in preparing material take-offs and production documentation. Review shop drawings and provide technical inputs for smooth production.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in

AutoCAD

(2D & 3D). Strong knowledge of furniture joinery, finishes, and materials. Ability to read, interpret, and create detailed technical drawings. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and coordination skills. Prior experience in interior furniture projects is a plus.

Education:

Diploma or Degree in

Interior Design, Furniture Design, Mechanical Drafting, or related field
