Job Summary

We are seeking a technically skilled

Furniture Designer/Draftsman

with strong experience in preparing

detailed shop drawings for furniture manufacturing.

This role focuses on technical execution rather than creative design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of furniture construction and

previous experience working in a furniture manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Applicant should have mandatory knowledge of

AutoCAD

and the ability to create detailed shop drawings. Should have a minimum of

2 Years experience in Furniture Production & Furniture Drawings.

Create

2D & 3D drawings

using AutoCADand other design software (e.g Sketchup, Solidworksetc. ) Translate measurements, design inputs, and specifications into clear technical drawings Ensure all drawings include correct materials, hardware, joinery details, and construction methods Coordinate closely with production and factory teams to ensure drawings are feasible for manufacturing Should have the ability to prepare drawings of the finalised furniture items according to the furniture photographs and standard proportions. Update and revise drawings based on site conditions or production feedback Have strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and materials. Should have a good portfolio of previous works to showcase.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in furniture drafting or technical furniture design (experience in a furniture manufacturing company is required)

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp. Solid understanding of furniture construction, joinery, materials, and hardware. Ability to create precise and comprehensive technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work on-site at our office/factory full-time.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month

IMT Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
