Key Responsibilities

Design

modular and ready-to-ship furniture

(beds, sofas, tables, storage, seating, etc.) Create

2D drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications

for production Work closely with

manufacturing, sourcing, and operations teams

to ensure designs are cost-effective and production-ready Optimize designs for

flat-pack, logistics efficiency, and fast delivery

Research

market trends, materials, finishes, and customer preferences

Improve existing designs based on

customer feedback and performance data

Ensure designs meet

quality, durability, and safety standards

Support brand storytelling through

aesthetic consistency and visual appeal

Required Skills & Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in

Furniture Design / Product Design / Industrial Design

Proficiency in

AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar tools

Strong understanding of

materials (wood, metal, upholstery, boards, finishes)

Knowledge of

manufacturing processes

used in Indian furniture factories Practical, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Ability to balance

design, cost, and scalability

Preferred (Good to Have)

Experience with

D2C furniture brands or e-commerce

Understanding of

modular furniture systems

Basic knowledge of

packaging and logistics constraints

Exposure to

vendor coordination and sampling

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
