Furniture Design Interns

who are excited to explore materials, create functional designs, and be part of a hands-on product development process.

Key Responsibilities

Work on

concept development

for innovative and functional furniture designs Create detailed

3D models

, CAD drawings, and design documentation Assist in

material research and selection

Collaborate with

manufacturers and vendors

to evaluate feasibility Support

prototyping, sampling, and testing

Prepare

renders, technical drawings, and specifications

Maintain strong

attention to detail

throughout the design process Bring

creativity and imagination

to design explorations Apply principles of

ergonomics

and user experience Learn and understand

manufacturing processes

and joinery techniques

Required Skills

Proficiency in

3D modelling tools

(Rhino, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, SketchUp) and

AutoCAD

Understanding of materials, textures, and production techniques Strong visualization + communication skills Detail-oriented with a structured design approach Curiosity, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset
