Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and skilled Furniture Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, functional, and aesthetically appealing furniture pieces. You will work with clients, interior designers, and manufacturers to ensure that the furniture designs are not only visually striking but also practical, durable, and cost-effective. Using advanced design tools and techniques, you will turn concepts into finished products while ensuring all production requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

Furniture Design

: Develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing furniture designs for residential, commercial, or specialized applications, such as office furniture, seating, tables, storage units, etc.

CAD Modeling & Prototyping

: Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp) to create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes for new furniture designs.

Manufacturing Support

: Provide technical support to manufacturers, ensuring that designs are feasible for mass production, and assist with solving any manufacturing issues.

Prototyping & Testing

: Oversee the creation and testing of prototypes to ensure the functionality, durability, and usability of the furniture designs. Iterate and refine designs based on testing feedback.

Quality Control

: Ensure that furniture designs adhere to high-quality standards throughout the design, development, and manufacturing processes.

Project Management

: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client requirements are met.

Research & Innovation

: Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and new technologies to continuously innovate and improve furniture designs.

Qualifications

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

: Minimum of [2-5 years] of experience in furniture design, with a proven track record of designing and developing furniture products.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Keyshot etc.). Solid understanding of furniture construction techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
