The Furnishings Sales Executive is a revenue-focused role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for commercial furnishings and decor, specifically within the hospitality industry. This includes selling a full range of products such as Curtain, Blind, wallpaper, light, furniture, carpet etc and custom FF&E solutions to hotel owners, operators, purchasing agents, and interior designers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
Proven track record in B2B sales, with significant experience (e.g., 3-5 years) in selling furnishings, FF&E, or related capital goods to the hospitality or commercial sector.
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the hotel and commercial design and procurement process.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex product information clearly.
Sales Acumen:
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills, with a results-driven mentality.
Relationship Building:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish trust and rapport with diverse client stakeholders.
Organizational:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in time management, with the ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience working with design/specification documents.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
