Tasks: Operators will be responsible for the following: Working 100% Safely Read, understand written and oral instructions to prioritize work Control and monitor multiple furnaces and perform other daily duties per instructions and procedures Build, load, and unload furnaces to accommodate production Communicate with peers, Team Lead, and Management on all aspects of the department Drive forklift, use walk behind forklift or pallet jack Prioritize work and troubleshoot problems Completing daily TPM and department cleaning Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is required Three - five years of furnace, brazing and heat treating experience is strongly preferred Three - five years of experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to work weekly overtime as needed Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is preferred Kennametal Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
