Qualification:
Bachelor's / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
Job Summary:
We are seeking an
experienced and results-driven Furnace Operations Manager
to oversee and optimize high-temperature operations including
CVI (Chemical Vapor Infiltration)
,
CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition)
,
Carbonisation
, and
Graphitization
processes within a composite production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both
electrical and mechanical systems
, with a proven track record of leading production teams, solving technical challenges, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of
high-temperature furnaces
for CVI, CVD, Carbonisation, and Graphitization processes.
Lead cross-functional teams including
Jr. Process Engineers, Supervisors, and Trainee Operators
.
Monitor and control furnace parameters, ensuring adherence to process specifications and safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to furnace operations, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Conduct
root cause analysis (RCA)
and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Drive
process optimization
and
productivity improvements
using data-driven decision-making.
Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance checklists, and operational documentation.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for timely servicing and calibration of equipment.
Train and mentor plant personnel on operational best practices and process standards.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum
10 years of experience
in furnace operations within a
composite or high-temperature manufacturing
environment.
Hands-on knowledge of
CVI, CVD, Carbonisation
, and
Graphitization
processes.
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude in handling industrial equipment.
Proven experience in
team leadership
and
cross-functional coordination
.
Excellent
analytical
,
problem-solving
, and
troubleshooting skills
.
Familiar with
Lean Manufacturing
,
5S
, and continuous improvement practices.
Effective communicator with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
