, is seeking an experienced and result-oriented professional for the position of

Head - Fundraising or Resource Mobilization

to lead strategic partnerships, CSR initiatives, and donor engagement supporting the Academy's community development and education programs.

A. THE ROLE: Purpose



The Head - Fundraising & Resource Mobilisation will lead the Academy's efforts in generating sustainable financial resources to support its social outreach, education, skilling (training), and community development initiatives. The role is pivotal in ensuring the Academy achieves a no-profit, no-loss balance while sustaining core community programs that require continued investment without direct income or limited income generated from its own resources.

This needs to be achieved through direct resource mobilisation from fund houses | corporates, National & International agencies, maximising the utilisation of the academy premises, collaborations and tie-ups.

The incumbent will be called up on



To develop and execute a fundraising plan for the Academy, with clear, precise, specific deliverables with timelines.

To develop a focused, continuous & consistent plan for institutional fund-raising & CSR, Foundations, Government Schemes and international agencies. network with Foundations and corporates, in India & outside India to raise funds.

To evolve schemes to enlist individual donors (HNI & UHNI Alumni, monthly donor programs)

To reinforce the relationship with the existing donors

To reinforce the SDBA Brand by participation in conferences and other relevant platforms and by organising fundraising events.

To develop targeted fundraising communication material including online fundraising initiatives. (Crowd funding platforms, social media & websites, newsletters, donor reports, social media, and campaign.

To arrange visits of fund-raising partners to the Nerul location and communities and organize seminars, workshops and benefit events.

To ensure internal alignment with heads of departments | professionals | school authorities.

All these while ensuring adherence to the Don Bosco Values, policies and guidelines.

Deliverables

B. Deliverables (specific & Measurable)



- Annual fundraising targets (to be agreed with leadership, e.g., ?X crore).
- Number of new donors onboarded (corporates, HNIs, institutions) per year.
- Online fundraising campaign performance - % growth in donations year-on-year.
- At least 2-3 large-scale donor events/seminars organised annually.
- Regular impact reports to donors and stakeholders.

E. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



1. Master's degree in any discipline preferably in social work, development studies, Business Administration, marketing

2. 5-7 years of work experience in the NGO sector and / or the services sector

3. Experience as a

researcher (funding)

will be an added advantage.

F. REWARDS & COMPENSATION.

The person should have a proven track record of meeting fundraising targets through CSR partnership, rants or individual donations.
