Job Description

We are hiring an Equity Fund Manager to be part of a Bank Treasury in Mumbai. The Fund Manager will serve as an integrated member of the investment team

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Communicate the investment philosophy, process, and performance of specific equity products. Also provides updates on overall financial market performance, economic trends and the investment team\'s investment outlook.

- Serve as the main investment contact for Equity investments

- Work closely with the Head to demonstrate strategic direction-setting and prioritization.

- Takes ownership of profitability.

- Provides FM perspective to internal teams to create strategic messaging and investment content for assigned investment strategies.

- Responsible for challenging and validating appropriateness of investment strategy and process within the agreed guidelines.

- Stays abreast of identified market trends and the competitive landscape, along with the relative positioning of the investment team.

- Contributes to and facilitates creation of investment content.

Required Education, Skill Set & Knowledge -

- CA/CFA or Master\'s degree required; or advanced degree in finance sector preferred.

- 8+ years of financial services experience; previous experience as a Fund/Portfolio Manager/Product/Portfolio specialist desired.

- Strong Knowledge of capital markets

- Excellent grasp of and familiarity with portfolio management, construction and analytical tools, risk management, performance attribution etc.

- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-management skills; self-driven, resourceful, and entrepreneurial, Strong written and verbal communication skills.
