Job Title: Fund Administrator

In this role, you will:

To process the following transactions accurately and in a timely manner pertaining to Transfer Agency functions in Bangalore. Subscription, Redemption, Switches and Transfers from the investors into and from the fund. Reporting to interested parties such as the Fund Accountants, Investors, Distributors, Fund/Asset Management Companies. Investor Onboarding, Account Set up and Maintenance Settlement and Reconciliation of the deals settled and payments received or made to the investors. End of Day Activities. Corporate Action and Fund Price updates to the system. And any other activities pertaining to Transfer Agency functions which may be introduced in future.

To be successful you will:

Commerce Graduate is essential, Post Graduate degree in commerce and Accounts would be an added advantage. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in English, both oral and written Knowledge of securities industry, Mutual funds, hedged funds, role of Transfer Agents, Registrars, Custodian etc. are desirable Multi-cultural background or experience, ability to work across broad range of cultures in support of HSBC Group values and objectives Strong attention to detail Strong computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Word Good team player and able to work well independently CISI - Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Certifications Prior experience in Transfer Agency & Registrar operations Understanding of Market and Mutual Fund operations desirable
