The Functional Tester for the Digital Lending Services team will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of digital lending applications. This role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and digital lending processes.
The Digital Lending Services team at JPMorgan Chase focuses on delivering innovative digital solutions to streamline and enhance the lending process. The team works closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies that improve efficiency and customer experience in lending services.
Job Responsibilities:
(i) Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for digital lending applications.
(ii) Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
(iii) Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
(iv) Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new changes.
(v) Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
(vi) Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation to stakeholders.
(vii) Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
(viii) Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, in digital lending or financial services.
- Strong understanding of functional testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Knowledge of digital lending processes and applications is an advantage.
Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
