Key Responsibilities:

Perform

functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing

of POS applications. Validate POS transactions including

cash, card, UPI, refunds, discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs

. Verify

hardware and peripheral integrations

(receipt printers, scanners, cash drawers, payment terminals). Write, review, and execute detailed

test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios

. Log defects, track them to closure, and provide

clear defect reports

with reproduction steps. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to

understand requirements and acceptance criteria

. Perform

UAT support and production validation

during new POS releases. Ensure compliance with QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years

of experience in Functional QA with a focus on

POS testing

. Strong knowledge of

retail POS systems, transactions, and workflows

. Experience in

manual testing

(automation knowledge is a plus). Familiarity with

Agile/Scrum methodologies

. Strong defect management skills using tools like

JIRA, ALM, or similar

. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a

fast-paced retail environment

with tight deadlines.

Good to Have:

Exposure to

test automation tools

(Selenium, Appium, or similar). Experience in testing

mobile POS (mPOS) applications

. Knowledge of

payment gateways and third-party integrations
