Overview:

Functional Perecived Quality Engineer ( FPQE)- Convergence Engineer

Responsibilities:

The development of interior and exterior vehicle fit and finish (gap/flush) requirements from vehicle concept phase through launch.



Manage gap and flush section book and associated KPI



Section Analysis and Validation of Geometry at the Vehicle level.



Validation and ensure of the PQ RT Respect using CATIA/ UG NX Cad TOOL



Leading target setting workshops, and working closely with product styling, engineering, quality and manufacturing throughout all design phases to ensure targets are feasible.



Ensure appropriate escalation of issue

Qualifications:

B.E./B. Tech or M.E/ M. Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production and Industrial Engineering

Essential skills:

Proficient knowledge of Gap and Flush Requirement at Vehicle level



Well Versed with Datum Strategy for Interior and Sheet Metal parts.for Body and Interior.



GD& T Knowledge and Stackup analysis (1D & 3D)



Worked on Sheet Metal and Plastics components



Functional analysis and tolerancing



Statistical basis and monitoring plans



Body Shop and General Assembly process



Synthesis and reporting project KPI

Desired skills:

Team Work



Good Communication and Presentation Skill.



Demonstrate ability to use statistic & SPC techniques and application
