CTG is seeking to fill a Functional Consultant opening for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Description:
As an Application Architect specializing in Industry Packages, a Functional Consultant is responsible for expertly integrating packaged technology into a client's business environment. This is achieved by leveraging in-depth business knowledge and package expertise to meet the client's expected business results. The consultant's skills are highly focused on specific Tier-2 enterprise resource planning (ERP) and MES systems, such as Infor (includes BaaN and Lawson), Apriso Flexnet, IFS, Maconomy, Notes/Domino, and BPCS (Business Planning and Control System). This specialization enables the consultant to effectively and efficiently integrate and optimize these systems for the client's unique business needs.
Duties:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions using ERP and MES packages.
Configure, implement, and optimize Tier-2 ERP/MES solutions to meet client-specific needs.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Provide expertise in system integration, testing, and deployment activities.
Document functional specifications, processes, and workflows.
Support change management and user training for system adoption.
Troubleshoot issues, provide system enhancements, and recommend best practices for long-term efficiency.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of ERP and MES systems, including Infor, Apriso Flexnet, IFS, Maconomy, Notes/Domino, and BPCS.
Ability to analyze complex business processes and design effective system solutions.
Proficiency in system configuration, integration, and optimization.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Application Architect with Tier-2 ERP/MES packages.
Proven track record of implementing and supporting ERP and MES solutions.
Experience working with multiple clients across industries, delivering business-focused technology solutions.
Background in business process analysis and re-engineering.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
