AX2012 Finance Architect "Job Title (InternalExternal) (Resource Required - 1)" Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (ERP) + AX 2012 Position D365 FO - Financal Architect Experience 8-12+ Years Job Summary "We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic D365 Finance and Operations Architect with a good background in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. The right candidate will play a key leadership role in the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-level ERP solutions using D365 F&O. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and developers to ensure scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions. " "Key Responsibilities: o Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of Microsoft D365 F&O implementations and upgrades (including AX 2012 to D365 migrations). o Translate complex business requirements into scalable and secure ERP solutions. o Define and maintain technical architecture, integration patterns, and data flows across modules. o Provide architectural oversight and governance across multiple D365 projects and workstreams. o Work closely with functional consultants in Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, and Manufacturing modules. o Collaborate with integration teams for interfacing D365 F&O with external systems via Azure services, OData, and APIs. o Oversee and guide development teams in creating customizations, extensions, and ISV solutions. o Establish and enforce best practices for performance, security, and maintainability. o Participate in data migration planning and execution from AX 2012 or other legacy systems. o Stay updated with Microsoft roadmap and assess impact on business processes and architecture. Required Skills and Experience: o 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (preferably AX 2012 R2/R3) and at least 5+ years with D365 Finance and Operations. o Proven experience in architecting large-scale D365 F&O implementations, upgrades, and integrations. o Deep understanding of D365 F&O modules such as: o General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets o Inventory, Procurement and Sourcing, Sales and Marketing o Project Management and Accounting o Production and Warehouse Management (preferred) o Strong knowledge of LCS (Lifecycle Services), Data Management Framework (DMF), and Extensions Framework. o Familiarity with Data Entities, Power Platform, Power BI, and Dual Write integrations. o Good problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: o Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations - Solution Architect Expert (MB-700) or equivalent certifications. o Experience with third-party integrations, and global/localization requirements."
