• Job Title: Functional & API Tester
• Primary skills: Hands-on experience in API automation frameworks and scripting
• Secondary skills: Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar
• Location: Hyderabad (Mindspace#12B)
• Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc
• Experience: 3-8 yrs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 to 8 years of experience in QA, with strong exposure to functional and API testing.
• Hands-on experience in API automation frameworks and scripting.
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar.
• Good understanding of software testing lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.
• Ability to develop test plans, strategies, and accurate effort estimations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end functional testing of web and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, etc.
• Implement and maintain API test automation suites.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing requirements and scope.
• Create and manage test strategies, test plans, and test estimations.
• Track and report defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
• Use test case and project management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray).
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
