Your role

Key Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and solution designs with an eye for UI/UX. Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between design and implementation. Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to identify digitalization opportunities. Support testing, validation, and deployment of MES features. Document functional flows, user stories, and system behavior. Contribute to defining a clear product roadmap. Act as a bridge between business and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

5+ years of experience in

functional analysis or solution design

for custom MES or similar manufacturing systems & processes. Solid understanding of the

manufacturing domain

and operations systems such as

MES, WMS, APS, PLE

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working in

Agile

or

project-based environments

. Familiarity with

SAP

and

SQL

is a plus. Basic knowledge of

Azure

. Strong understanding of

major data management concepts

and

integration techniques

. Experience with

asynchronous communication

(e.g.,

Apache

Kafka

) is a plus. Understanding of

REST APIs

and

security essentials

. Understanding of how an MES system integrates within manufacturing operating systems and ERP systems. Knowledge of

IoT communication protocols

such as

MQTT

and

OPC UA

. Excellent communication skills and fluency in

English

. Ability to work independently Working team oriented Willingness to spend up to

6 months in Belgium

for onboarding. Comfortable with

international travel up to 15%

.

Education

You have degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in Production IT technology.
