Job Summary

We are looking for a self-driven Backend Developer (Python) who can independently own and build backend systems end-to-end.

This role requires someone who is comfortable taking complete responsibility for backend architecture, APIs, databases, performance, and scalability without relying on a large backend team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems independently using Python Build robust, scalable, and secure REST APIs Own backend architecture decisions and implementation Work with databases (SQL / NoSQL) including schema design and query optimization Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices Handle integrations with third-party APIs and services Optimize backend performance, reliability, and scalability Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Debug, monitor, and resolve production issues independently Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python Strong experience with backend frameworks like Django / Flask / FastAPI Solid understanding of RESTful API design Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL) Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB / Redis is a plus) Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend logic Experience with version control systems (Git) Ability to work independently and take full backend ownership Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Experience with Docker and basic cloud services (AWS / GCP / Azure) Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ / Kafka) Experience handling high-traffic or scalable systems Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
