As a Fullstack Developer in the Global Engineering Services Group, you will plan, design and build web applications, tools and automations for streamlining Western Digital's worldwide engineering labs operations, and have a direct impact to the business success and the quality of WDC product lifecycle.

You will constantly communicate with the R&D groups around the globe in order to define their business requirements and provide them with the most effective solutions and tools, based on the industry's best practices.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, curious and fast learner, problem solver, communicative and verbal, customer oriented and an exemplary team player.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a full stack and/or backend developer with experience in web applications
• 3+ years of experience with languages like Python/GO/PHP or similar
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming
• Hands-on experience with working in containerized environments and developing microservices based applications
• In-depth understanding of API design and demonstrated experience in integrating with external systems
• Deep understanding of CI/CD methodologies
• Good understanding of the MVC development concept
• Experience with versioning control tools
• Familiarity with configuration management tools
• Ability to turn ideas into actions and/or complete solutions
• Previous experience as a system administrator - Advantage
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies - Advantage
