Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of veterinary medicine, diagnostics, and treatment protocols for small animals. Familiarity with preventive care, nutrition, behavior, and wellness best practices Knowledge of common breeds, disease management, and common care procedures Awareness of clinic operations, medical record management, and regulatory compliance Understanding of PawsnCollars' holistic pet wellness approach and 360 care ecosystemConduct thorough health examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for pets Provide preventive care guidance, including vaccination, nutrition, and wellness plans Communicate effectively and empathetically with pet parents about diagnoses, treatments, and care instructions Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the clinic and treatment areas Perform spaying, neutering, and soft-tissue surgical procedures independently Oversee post-operative care and ensure proper recovery and follow-up Manage medical records, patient follow-ups, and inventory of medicines and supplies Collaborate with staff and teams to ensure holistic pet wellness Uphold PawsnCollars' values, maintain the company's vision and mission, and represent the brand professionally in every interaction

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent from a recognized institution (mandatory) Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Karnataka Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in small animal practice (experience in surgery or specialty care preferred) Strong diagnostic and surgical skills, excellent communication and empathy toward clients, ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
