Reporting to the Director, the Full Stack Technology Lead will be responsible for the following duties and obligations:

Full Stack Technology Lead





We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Full Stack Technology Lead (MERN Stack)to join our engineering team. This role demands deep expertise across frontend and backend development, system architecture, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS, along with a proven ability to lead technical design, mentor developers, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. You will play a critical role in shaping architecture decisions, driving best practices, and ensuring continuous improvement across the full stack.



Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable full stack crypto applications using the MERN stack. Define and enforce best practices for code quality, architecture, security, and performance. Review designs and code, providing technical guidance and mentoring to team members.

Operational Excellence

Ensure backend and frontend systems are robust, scalable, and secure. Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response to maintain high availability. Own production stability and drive proactive issue identification and resolution.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with product managers, designers, QA, DevOps, and security teams to align engineering efforts with product roadmaps and business objectives. Translate product requirements into technical solutions with clear trade-offs and execution plans.

Full Stack Development

Build and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js. Develop scalable APIs and services using Node.js (Express/NestJS). Design efficient data models and queries using MongoDB and related data stores.

Performance & Scalability

Identify frontend and backend performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations. Design systems that handle increasing traffic, data volume, and user concurrency.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with the latest trends in JavaScript, web frameworks, cloud technologies, and system design. Advocate for and implement innovative tools, frameworks, and processes that improve developer productivity and user experience.

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior role. Strong hands-on expertise with React.js, Node.js, Express/NestJS, and MongoDB. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and deploying production-grade applications. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus). Experience with caching mechanisms (Redis preferred). Strong knowledge of database design, indexing, and query optimization (MongoDB; SQL exposure is a plus). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, automated testing, and release management. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Exposure to Web3, fintech, or crypto-based platforms is a plus.

Working Conditions:

This position typically operates in a professional office environment.

Occasional travel may be required for training or conferences.
