Veloris Global is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Shopify Developer to join our in-house digital team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing and customizing Shopify stores, themes, and apps, with a solid grasp of both front-end and back-end technologies. You'll be responsible for creating high-performance, responsive, and visually appealing eCommerce experiences that align with our global business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Shopify-based eCommerce websites (custom themes & Liquid coding).
Customize Shopify themes, sections, and templates using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Liquid, JSON, and AJAX.
Integrate Shopify APIs, third-party plugins, and apps (payments, shipping, analytics, CRM/ERP).
Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, responsive, and optimized for speed and performance.
Collaborate closely with the UI/UX Designer and Project Manager to convert approved mockups into functional pages.
Troubleshoot and resolve functional or integration issues.
Manage product data uploads, metafields, and Shopify admin configurations.
Stay updated with the latest Shopify and eCommerce trends, apps, and technologies.
Requirements
2-4 years of proven experience in Shopify development (Liquid, JS, and Shopify APIs).
Strong understanding of Shopify Plus, Online Store 2.0, and custom app integrations.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and REST APIs.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and cross-browser testing.
Familiarity with SEO principles, Google Analytics, and conversion optimization.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Nice to Have
Experience integrating Shopify with ERP/CRM systems.
Knowledge of React.js or Node.js for custom app development.
Understanding of liquid-based app extensions and Shopify headless architecture.
