Full Stack Java Developer

Location:

Thiruvananthapuram

B2B SaaS platform for Yoga institutes, teachers & communities

What you'll do

End-to-end ownership (SaaS features):

Work closely with the core team in

analysis, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance

of product features.

SaaS product engineering:

Build reliable, secure, multi-user features (authentication, roles/permissions, scheduling, payments/integrations, dashboards) suitable for a growing SaaS platform.

Back-end development (Java/Spring Boot):

Build RESTful APIs and services using

Java

and

Spring Boot

. Implement business logic, validations, and integrations.

Database design & optimization (MySQL):

Design and optimize schemas and queries in

MySQL

. Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability.

Front-end integration:

Implement responsive UIs using

HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax

. Ensure smooth flows and good UX in collaboration with the core/product team.

Quality & stability:

Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code. Debug issues across the stack and improve performance and reliability.

Customer & product focus:

Advocate for the customer - think from the Yoga teacher/institute perspective. Suggest improvements to flows, UX, and feature design based on real usage.

Continuous improvement:

Stay updated on Java/Spring, front-end best practices, and SaaS architecture. Recommend improvements to architecture, tooling, and processes.

Must-have skills & experience

3-5 years

of experience building web applications in

Java

. Strong hands-on experience with:

Java, Spring Boot

(REST APIs, configuration, application structure).

MySQL

- schema design, joins, indexes, query optimization. Good front-end skills:

HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax

.

Proficiency with version control systems:

SVN, Bitbucket, Git

(at least one in depth, others as exposure). Experience in

building and maintaining products

(not just short projects) - understanding releases, iterations, and production support. Solid understanding of

web application architecture

, security basics, and performance. Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.

Clear communication and comfort working in a

small, core team
