We are building AI-powered tools for knowledge workers who need to make sense of complex information
quickly. Our users are researchers, analysts, consultants, and strategic decision-makers who currently spend
hours manually synthesising information from multiple sources.
We are a small, mission-driven team of builders creating products that didn't exist before. We're looking for
experienced engineers who've shipped real products and want to be part of building something from the
ground up.
About The Role
As our first engineering hire, you'll build the core product from scratch, working directly with the founder to
create an AI-powered web application that helps users e?ciently gather , process, and synthesise information.
This role is perfect for a builder . You spend your nights and weekends creating things that didn't exist before.
You understand that making something exist comes before making it perfect, but you still care deeply about
code quality and product taste.
You'll work across the full stack, from designing intuitive interfaces to architecting robust backend systems,
building new products from the ground up. The product will combine conversational AI, real-time data
processing, and intelligent synthesis to solve real problems for knowledge workers. Experience with AI APIs is
valuable but not required; what matters most is your ability to learn quickly, ship quality products, and your
excitement about pushing the boundaries of what's possible with modern web technologies and frontier
language models.
Requirements
Technical Expertise

• Full-stack development experience with fluency across modern web frameworks and cloud infrastructure

• Demonstrated ability to build both frontend and backend systems, with experience hardening prototypes into production-level products

• Strong skills in rapid prototyping and iteration

• Comfortable working with TypeScript/JavaScript, React-based frameworks, abnand modern backend technologies

• Experience with API integration, async operations, and managing external service dependencies

Product Intuition

• Well-developed product taste and opinions about what great user experience looks like

• Experience translating technical capabilities into compelling product features

• A bias toward speed and discovery, balanced with care for quality and craft

• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions that balance shipping quickly with building maintainable systems

Builder Mindset

• Track record of shipping products, not just features

• Comfortable with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
• Self-directed and able to drive projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight
• Excited by the opportunity to be the first technical hire and shape engineering culture
