Salesforce Commerce Cloud is looking for strong Full-Stack engineers in India to design and build rich platform capabilities and features that will help us rapidly grow the adoption of our platform, products, and organization.
Our team is a part of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and working to build high-quality, easy-to-use, and powerful solutions leveraging the full spectrum of the Salesforce Platform, including Commerce, Communities, and Digital Experience Management (DXP). We enable our customers all over the world to create engaging, high-performing, and personalized Storefront Experiences.

On the Cart and Checkout team, you will directly influence how customers build and manage their commerce solutions and evolve their shopping and merchant applications. We enable commerce checkout integrations with pricing, promotions, shipping, inventory, and payments by providing reliable and scaleable cart storage together with Salesforce platform Extension capabilities (e.g. APEX) to leverage the powerful partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Work on key commerce cart and checkout domain
• Work as a member of an Agile team of engineers working very collaboratively, assessing and refining the work to be done, designing solutions, implementing and testing features, and sharing our results with the wider workgroup and company.
• Collaborate with other teams and functions (Software Architects, User Experience Designers, Product Management, Documentation, Support) to align, design, and deliver the best solutions for novel problems.
• Display strong collaboration skills, including learning and growing yourself and sharing knowledge to mentor and foster growth in others.
• Independently deliver on tasks and fearlessly make decisions within your decision space.
• Be productive in a remote team environment.
• Willingness to collaborate among India/EMEA/US time zones with the globally distributed engineering team by adjusting work schedules on certain days when required.
• Work in a Hybrid Engineering model and eagerness to contribute in all phases of SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing of user stories.
• Eagerness to contribute to any of the architectural layers such as UI, API, or DB layer.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience in a platform or product development organization
• Strong experience building and maintaining applications or services in Java
• Strong understanding of and experience in code automation including unit and functional testing
• Strong focus on delivering of high-quality, tested, clean code
• Understanding of best practices around testing and designing for testability
• Understanding of client-server architecture and Software as a Service
• Understanding of Agile development practices
• Understanding of NoSQL database concepts
• Strong team player

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing on Salesforce
• Experience in UI and API performance testing and production monitoring
• Strong understanding of software version control systems
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Previous experience of working in large-scale platform teams
• Experience with E-Commerce or Experience Management
• Experience building and maintaining web applications in JavaScript
• Experience with Aura or LWC (Lightning Web Components)
• Experience with CI/CD tools chains, working knowledge of Linux systems
