Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions in a modern, cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building RESTful services, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and automating infrastructure and application deployments using open-source tools.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Strong background in several of the following: Python, Go, RESTful services, Jenkins CI/CD, Configuration Automation (Ansible)

Preferred background in: Angular, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, Shell Scripting, messaging frameworks (MQ), Service Oriented/Micro-service Architectures, OpenStack, Relational Databases (PostgreSQL).

Comfortable working in both Linux, and Windows environments.

Experience with deploying and utilizing open-source tools, utilities and applications.

Working experience with Agile, 10-factor CI/CD, 12-factor applications, and testing environments/frameworks (Unit, Integration, TDD).

Understands the Spotify model for agile development and delivery.



Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of IT experience with Python experience

Angular exp is must

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Preferred Qualifications



Understands the Spotify model for agile development and delivery.

Experience working in a highly collaborative, ever-evolving DevOps environment.

Preferred Cloud Certification, e.g. AWS certified Associate Developer and/or Solution Architect

Behavioural Competencies :

Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements

Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)

Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams

Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services

Ability to plan, prioritize and complete your own work, whilst remaining a team player

Willingness to engage with and work in other technologies
