Stones2Milestones (S2M) is a 12-year-old company that wants to create a nation of readers. We believe that if our kids were to read better, then they would grow to be better human beings, more aware (better for democracy), and better professionals (better for personal incomes). Solving the reading crisis will not only solve UN-SDG 4 (quality education), but also impact other goals on employment, economic growth, equality, and hunger. S2M runs a gamut of brands - fREADom Live (a live English online class), fREADom app (a reading app), WOW (a reading program for kids at schools), MsMoochie (kid\'s literature publishing house), and BLPS (a reading program for kids at schools) via acquisition. Till 2019, we spent a lot of time on research and development. But in 2020, we have been busy growing. From March to December, we grew from 40 employees to 300 employees, including full-time, contractors, and part-timers.

About the internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build, develop, and support our existing websites and apps
2. Write new proof of concepts to validate business requirements
3. Integrate new partners for analytics and content
4. Deploy websites to servers, by setting up CI/CD processes
5. Work with the tech team to scale the application for millions of users

Requirements:

1. Hands-on Python coding
2. Django experience
3. Someone who can build SPA with React quickly, as well as contribute to our legacy React Apps
4. You can convert Figma designs to HTML/CSS or can use an AI tool to do so
5. Knowledge of any other programming languages - Java/PHP/Golang

Note: We are currently looking for a mid to senior full-stack developer intern, with hands-on experience in Python, including Django and/or Flask experience, coupled with front-end development experience in React.
