Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled web developer experienced in

Shopify

,

WordPress

, and

PHP

to build, customize, and maintain high-performance, responsive websites and e?commerce solutions. You will collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and project leads to ensure seamless functionality, strong SEO, and outstanding user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize

Shopify

stores: build Liquid themes, integrate payment/shipping APIs, and optimize for performance Build and maintain

WordPress

websites: themes, plugins, widgets, using PHP and mainstream page builders (e.g. Elementor, WPBakery) Write clean, maintainable

PHP/MySQL

code following best practices and good design principles. Implement front?end features using

HTML5

,

CSS3

,

JavaScript

,

jQuery

,

Bootstrap

, responsive/mobile-first approaches. Optimize websites for

page speed

,

SEO

,

loading performance

, and cross-browser compatibility. Troubleshoot, debug, and support live sites--deploy updates, patches, backups, and security hardening. Collaborate with designers to translate

Figma / XD / Sketch mockups

into pixel?perfect UI. Integrate

third-party APIs/services

(e.g., payment gateways, logistics, analytics) via REST or GraphQL. Use

Git version control

, conduct code reviews, and maintain documentation.

Required Qualifications

2+ years

experience in Shopify, WordPress, and PHP Proficiency in

Shopify Liquid

, theme customization, app/widget integration Solid experience customizing or developing

WordPress themes/plugins

Proficient in

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

, and related libraries/frameworks Working knowledge of

MySQL, PHP

, and OOP/MVC frameworks (CodeIgniter, Laravel, YII) Familiar with

responsive design

, debugging tools (e.g. Chrome Inspector), and browser testing Practical experience with

version control (Git)

Strong

verbal and written communication

, ability to work in a team and across time zones

Preferred Skills

(not mandatory but advantageous)

Experience with

WooCommerce

and other CMS e?commerce platforms. Knowledge of

SEO best practices

, performance caching systems (e.g. WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache) Exposure to
