Sr SW Engineer - Full Stack- HYDERABAD

The Role

You will work with a team of talented software developers to expand and mature our cloud-based restaurant management and SaaS platform. You will own the design, development, and commercialization of backend services, data platforms, integrations, and customer-facing applications that power restaurant operations. This role requires close collaboration with product, data, analytics, and customer-facing teams. You thrive in an aggressive startup environment, helping transition complex systems into scalable, production-ready SaaS solutions.

What You'll Do

Ramp up quickly on existing backend systems, data services, and deployment pipelines Lead and execute platform migrations, including SaaS services to AWS and zFusion components to Python Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting restaurant management software, POS systems, chatbots, and operational workflows Design and implement integrations with third-party systems including POS providers, food vendors, scheduling systems, task management platforms, foot-traffic data providers, Medallia, Paychex, and additional enterprise integrations Build and expand customer-facing capabilities such as user profiles, insights dashboards, and automated SaaS insights email workflows Own and extend the platform integration framework to support ongoing and future third-party integrations Create architectural diagrams that demonstrate data flow across backend services, data pipelines, and external systems Develop robust monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system health, data integrity, and performance Own platform installation, updates, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization across environments Drive continuous quality improvements through automated testing, code reviews, and release readiness Act as a technical leader for backend and platform services, proactively aligning with product, data, and integration teams

Requirements

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 5+ years of relevant industry experience delivering production-quality backend or full-stack software at scale Strong experience with backend systems, distributed services, API design, data modeling, and SQL Proven experience building SaaS platforms that support multiple applications and integrations Strong Python expertise Experience developing with AI assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Copilot. Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js for backend and full-stack development Experience building integrations with POS systems, third-party APIs, data providers, or conversational platforms (chatbots) Solid understanding Git, and cloud-based deployment environments (AWS preferred) Experience designing data services, analytics pipelines, or insights-driven products is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: ?430,138.32 - ?2,142,723.99 per year
