About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Electron Developer with strong proficiency in Cordova and PHP to join our development team. You will be working on a cross-platform desktop application built using Electron, integrating both system-level features and modern UI/UX experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Electron.js Implement backend services using Node.js (with or without Express.js) Create and manage front-end UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and optionally front-end frameworks like Bootstrap Integrate APIs and handle local databases (SQLite or other file-based DBs if used) Optimize application performance, memory management, and packaging Collaborate with the existing team on Git (version control), code reviews, and feature planning Debug and fix cross-platform compatibility issues (Windows/Linux/macOS if applicable)

Requirements:

1+ years of experience in developing with Electron.js, Cordova and PHP Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and asynchronous programming Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design Familiarity with Node modules, IPC communication, and file system handling in Electron Understanding of bundlers like Webpack or tools like Electron Forge / Electron Builder Experience using Git for version control Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code

Bonus Skills (Optional, but great to have):

Experience in packaging and deploying Electron apps Basic knowledge of native OS-level integrations (like tray, notifications, auto-updates) Familiarity with tools like Postman, Figma, VSCode Debugging setup Working with local storage or embedded DBs (like SQLite, NeDB, etc.)
