We are looking for a passionate and motivated Software Development Intern to join our engineering team. As an intern, you will assist in the design, development, and deployment of web applications under the guidance of senior developers. This is a great opportunity to work hands-on with the Next.js & MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) , gain real-world experience, and strengthen your software development fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities
? Assist in developing & maintaining full-stack web applications using MERN and Next.js
? Contribute to writing clean and maintainable code following best practices
? Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers on various projects
? Learn and apply performance optimization techniques for web applications
? Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to enhance your skills
? Help with documentation of features and project workflows
? Stay updated with current web development trends and tools
Required Skills & Qualifications
? Basic understanding of MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
? Exposure to or willingness to learn Next.js
? Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms , and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
? Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic integration techniques
? Experience using Git/GitHub for version control (even in personal projects)
? Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
? Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Nice to Have
? Knowledge of TypeScript
? Familiarity with microservices architecture concepts
? Awareness of SEO and web performance optimization
? Interest in unit testing and writing testable code
? Basic understanding of DevOps tools like Docker or Vercel is a plus
