Responsibilities

Build and maintain

React Native mobile app

and

Node.js (TypeScript) backend

services. Extend

real-time doctor appointment booking system

with caching (Redis) and API rate limiting. Design and improve

microservice architecture

for scalability and reliability (target 99.9% uptime). Implement and maintain

CI/CD pipelines

using

GitHub Actions + Docker

. Work with

Drizzle ORM

and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL). Optimize performance through caching, load distribution, and monitoring. Develop new features including:

Payment integration

(Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal).

Map & location services

(Google Maps, OpenStreetMap).

Notifications

(push, email, SMS).

Role-based access & authentication

(patients, doctors, admins). Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high code quality. Collaborate on future modules such as

telemedicine (video consults)

EHR system

, and

AI-driven recommendations

.

Required Skills

3+ years experience

with

Fullstack development

in

TypeScript

. Strong expertise in

React Native

and

Node.js

. Solid understanding of

REST APIs

,

microservices

, and

real-time systems

. Experience with

Docker

,

CI/CD

, and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure). Database experience:

PostgreSQL/MySQL

with ORM (preferably Drizzle). Knowledge of

Redis

(caching, queues). Familiarity with

Git workflows
