Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using the PHP Laravel framework, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices, ensuring high standards of performance, security, and scalability. Conduct performance analysis and optimization of web applications, ensuring optimal functionality under high load conditions and addressing potential bottlenecks in code for improved speed and scalability. Manage MySQL databases, optimize queries, and ensure efficient data storage solutions that support application performance. Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between internal and external systems, enhancing the application ecosystem. Take responsibility for managing the company's servers, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. This includes deploying and maintaining web applications, performing system backups, and monitoring server health.. Utilize Git for version control, ensuring collaborative development, code review, and seamless integration of new features. Implement security best practices throughout the application development lifecycle to safeguard sensitive data and ensure web applications comply with security protocols. Actively participate in code reviews, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure code quality, identify areas for improvement, and adhere to internal coding standards. Maintain detailed and organized documentation of code, processes, and system configurations to ensure clarity and facilitate knowledge transfer across teams. Collaborate with the UI/UX team to ensure front-end development aligns effectively with back-end functionalities. Engage with clients, either directly or indirectly, to understand project requirements, provide progress updates, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live applications, addressing technical problems reported by clients or users, and ensuring the smooth operation of production systems.

Key Requirements:

Strong proficiency in PHP and in-depth experience with the Laravel framework, including developing and deploying complex web applications. Extensive experience working with relational databases, particularly MySQL, and a solid understanding of database design, query optimization, and data management practices. In-depth knowledge of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, ensuring structured and maintainable application code. Proven experience in managing web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and ensuring their proper configuration, performance, and security. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with front-end teams and implement dynamic features. Proficiency in using Git for managing code changes, version control, and collaborative development within a team environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues effectively, both during development and in production. A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in web development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Prior experience working with PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel, in a corporate or fast-paced development environment. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
