Introduction:
Technical Architect /Dev lead responsible for all technical aspects of our key strategic solutions
Primary point of contact for technical guidance, MSO design decision, pre and post implementation
Own the product roadmap
Supporting the Lead Architect in assessing fit of solutions to customers
Primary face to manage and battle out any production issues.
A source of advice and consultancy to Solution Architect, Business Analyst, Test teams.
Responsible to lead and mentor the development team build strong technical capability
Owning the development of ballpark estimates and development work for Mortgages Sales and Originations application (MSO) which is known as one of the most complicated beast in Mortgages estate
Reviewing and improving design, product stability, internal processes, procedures and technical assurance steps required for delivery of our products and solutions
Researching and recommending technologies and solutions that form part of the future direction for our products and solutions
Facilitating and managing design workshops including producing minutes, actions and seeing these through to completion
Running technical workshops
Full stack dev capability: .Net, Java, Design capability and automation testing through integration tests
What will you be doing?
Responsible for product related technical decision
Responsible for ensuring the dev team delivers to committed timeline with set quality standards
Responsible for building strong technical capability in India and UK.
Responsible for product stabilization
Responsible for owing and driving the product roadmap from technical standpoint in line with future directives.
Responsible for making decision on tools to be used in line with Barclays approved tool policy to enhance th team productivity and effectiveness.

Skills that will help you in the role:
Extensive experience of working as a Dev lead and Technical architect on .Net application
Experience in designing and building software using Microsoft technologies with strong problem solving instinct and solution seeking drive.
Excellent hands on experience of modern technologies and specifically development of web based solutions, ideally in a Microsoft .NET environment
Hands on experience in C#, ASP.Net, MVC framework, Javascript, AJAX.NET, JQUERY, WCF, workflows using WF3.5with SQL server 2008/2016 DB server.
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
Computer Science or Engineering degree/qualification
Experience of Financial services software products and services e.g. Mortgage processing, Credit Cards etc.
AWS experience especially migration of .Net application to AWS
DevOps lifecycle implementation and management
