You will be responsible for managing delivery of application development and live releases - for an application or a portfolio of applications.
What will you be doing?

  • Hands on development, testing and deployment of quality code, in timely manner, meeting the business/project requirements
  • Collaborate and communicate with other developers to build efficient technical solutions.
  • Should have an analytical approach to resolving/debugging web applications.
  • Understand and adhere to coding standards already laid out
  • Should be able to code based on low level designs
  • Good understanding of a developer’s responsibility in team development environment
  • Knows to write and execute unit test cases
  • Understand the designs and work on implementation
  • Help team members with coding
  • Able to peer review codes
  • Improve process related to local environment creation
  • Bring innovative ideas to solve technical challenges

What we’re looking for:
  • Knowledge of End-to-end software development lifecycle and relevant experience in application development.
  • Experience of working in an agile project team with relevant experience of the tools used to provide this, for example, Confluence and Agile Central
  • Awareness of leading-edge tools, techniques and services within IT along with Cloud concepts, DevOps and CI:CD
  • Knowledge on usage of tools like SonarQube, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, etc.
  • Ability to impart knowledge with less experienced or less knowledgeable team members.
  • Ability to understand and implement security concepts and solutions within the components
  • Analytical ability including root cause identification and pro-active design improvement
  • Software development consisting of some of the following languages and technologies:
  • .Net / .Net Core
  • Web services, REST API
  • Databases (SQL)
  • Using HTML 5, Javascript, CSS, Angular
  • Application servers (IIS)
  • Version Control Software (Git)
  • Jira, Confluence, Jenkins

Skills that will help you in the role
  • Bachelor’s degree/ University degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • Experience of using the Git source code control system
  • Experience to develop software for multiple Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Windows)
