About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Full Stack Developer

to join our engineering team. You will build and maintain web applications that are scalable, performant, and built on modern cloud-native architectures. In this role, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies such as

Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda

, and

Nest.js

, while also contributing to front-end development using

React

. You'll design services, data models, and event-driven workflows to support real-time, distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development:

Architect, build, and maintain backend services using

Node.js

and

TypeScript

.

Serverless Architecture:

Design and develop serverless functions and microservices using

AWS Lambda

and cloud services.

Business Logic & Messaging:

Implement event-driven architecture using

Kafka

or

RabbitMQ

to handle asynchronous workflows.

API Development:

Create robust, secure, and well-documented

RESTful APIs

.

Frontend Development:

Collaborate with the front-end team and build interactive, responsive user interfaces using

React

.

Data Layer:

Work with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases to design schemas, define queries, and optimize data access.

Performance Optimization:

Continuously optimize code, database queries, and system architecture for performance, latency, and scalability.

DevOps & Delivery:

Help maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensure seamless deployments, and work with DevOps teams for monitoring and logging.

Quality Assurance:

Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and follow best practices for code maintainability.

Collaboration:

Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.

Documentation:

Maintain technical documentation of system design, APIs, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience in

full-stack development

. Strong proficiency in

Node.js

and

TypeScript

. Experience with

Nest.js

or similar Node.js frameworks. hirist.tech Experience building

serverless

, cloud-native backends (e.g., AWS Lambda). Worked with

event-driven systems

, using Kafka / RabbitMQ / message queues. Strong experience in building and consuming

REST APIs

. Experience with

React

or similar frontend frameworks. Solid experience in relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB). Experience in optimizing application performance and latency. Experience with

cloud computing

(AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern deployment practices. Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and automated build & release pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills, architectural thinking, and debugging mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Experience with

microservices architecture

. Knowledge of other cloud-native tools / frameworks (AWS Serverless Framework, Terraform). Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms. Experience in performance tuning and caching strategies (Redis, Memcached). Experience in infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices. Prior exposure to data streaming or real-time systems. Experience in mentoring or leading a small team of developers.

Pay: ?850,000.00 - ?1,150,000.00 per year
