About the Role

We're seeking a skilled

Senior Backend Developer

to join our growing technology team at

Innerix Technologies LLP

. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in

Laravel

and/or

Node.js

, with additional familiarity in

React.js

or

Next.js

for full-stack collaboration.

You'll be responsible for building scalable backend systems, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and collaborating with frontend and mobile teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

robust backend systems

and

RESTful APIs

using

Laravel

or

Node.js

. Collaborate with

frontend developers (React/Next.js)

and

mobile teams

to integrate services and ensure smooth communication between platforms. Implement and maintain

database schemas

(MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL). Ensure high

performance

,

security

, and

scalability

of backend services. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Manage

version control

using Git and contribute to code reviews. Work within

Agile/Scrum

teams using tools like

Jira

for sprint tracking. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Integrate third-party APIs and manage server environments when needed.

Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in

Laravel (PHP)

and/or

Node.js (Express/Nest.js)

- minimum 2 years hands-on in each. Experience with

frontend integration

using React.js or Next.js. Strong knowledge of

MySQL

,

MongoDB

, or

PostgreSQL

. Familiarity with

RESTful API design

authentication

, and

authorization (JWT/OAuth)

. Understanding of

MVC

and

microservices architecture

. Experience with

Git

GitHub/GitLab

CI/CD workflows

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

Information Technology

, or a related field.

3-5 years

of professional backend development experience. Minimum

2 years experience in Laravel

or

2 years in Node.js

. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

Experience with

Next.js

for full-stack integration. Familiarity with

cloud-based deployments
